Bio
Javier López graduated in Interior Architecture and Industrial Design from IADE in Madrid and continued his education with a master’s degree in Product Design at IED, also in Madrid.
He then moved to Milan where, for about ten years, he collaborated with leading firms in the sector including Claudio Bellini and Palomba Serafini Associati. Of the latter he is Project Leader and as such responsible for the conception and development of projects for world-renowned brands such as: Driade, Kartell, Zanotta, Zucchetti and Poltrona Frau, among others.
In 2013, he started his solo career by collaborating with several companies, including industry leaders Olivari and Agape. Precisely for Agape, in 2014, Javier López is nominated for the Compasso D’Oro award for Plus, an innovative system of containers for the bathroom. In the same year, he also designed the iconic Lotus handle for Olivari.

THE STUDIO
In 2018 Javier López returned to Madrid where he opened JavierLopezStudio, which offers numerous services from product design to architecture to art direction and of course consulting. Parallel to collaborations with companies in 2019 Javier López launches a small collection of 5 objects called Yvé that debuts at the Salone del Mobile inside a location in the Brera Design District. Smart furniture and accessories that simplify life by interpreting a modern, fast and surprising everyday life, in which essential, but not minimalist, furniture is versatile and multi-faceted to characterize, in a practical and playful way, spaces as different from each other as the living, bathroom and study area, as much for private as for contract.
Central to JavierLopezStudio’s activities is the dialogue with both the client and the market in order to propose functional, recognizable and durable solutions.
